Development

The Industrial Park is located in a tax increment financing (TIF) district. The TIF district pays for the infrastructure improvements which then allows the City of Seymour to give the land away for free based on the value of the structure to be built on the land. The increase in the assessed value of the property generates the revenue in the TIF district to pay for the infrastructure improvements. The City of Seymour is looking for $200,000 of assessed value increase for every acre of land transferred. Contact: Susan Garsow - City Clerk (920) 833-2209
